Based on LCD technology, the Nec MT1056 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 450:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
