The projector M311X by Nec operates as a LCD device with 3100 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 485 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 323 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
