The PE523X model is a Laser-LCD projector from Nec, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 18000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 628 cm can be illuminated with 5200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 419 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
