As a projector for the Stationary sector, the Nec PX700W is equipped with 7000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 2100:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
