The NP40 model is a DLP projector from Nec, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 272 cm. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Super presentation projector
Positive: Super small, very quick to set up and adjust. Great picture. Easily suitable for daylight. Cools up quickly (approx. 6 seconds), projects high without having to tilt the projector too much.
Negative: Unsuitable for films: too loud, rainbow effect. Sometimes flickered a lot
Conclusion: Great for presentations, unsuitable as a home cinema device
