Based on LCD technology, the Nec LT157 device delivers 1500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 600:1 as a projector. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
