With the M362W, Nec offers a 3D-DLP projector that features 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3500 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 610 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 407 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (20W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
