Based on LCD technology, the Nec MT840 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 1999 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.

Picture too big for screen
Hello I have an MT840 hanging in my living room since today.
The screen is 2.3m and the device hangs about 5.5m away from the ceiling
Now I wanted to adjust the picture size, but I can‘t get it to work.
I have to say that I don‘t have a remote control and I haven‘t connected a computer yet. (but it can be done)
I want to use the system for watching videos.
Unfortunately, the items in the menu for setting the picture size are not highlighted and cannot be clicked on.
