According to Nec, the M311W model provides 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 alongside a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 566 cm can be illuminated with 3100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 377 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
