The technical data of the Nec NP3250W includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
