The technical data of the Nec PA722X includes 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 7200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 739 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 493 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
