As a projector, the Nec MT1045 combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 300:1. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
