Behind the name P474U is a LCD projector by Nec, whose main features include 4700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 697 cm can be illuminated with 4700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 465 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
