According to Nec, the HT1000 model provides 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 275 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 183 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.

I bought the Nec via an online portal.
Had another DLP projector with rainbow EFEKT (annoying) and the same resolution before this one, but no comparison!!!
So I can recommend the NEC HT 1000 without reservation, in ECO mode in a dark room the brightness is sufficient and the contrast is very good.
