As a projector, the Nec NP410/ EDU combines LCD technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 2600 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 444 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 296 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
