Categorized in the Stationary segment, the PA622U projector from Nec projects with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution, alongside 6200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 6000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 800 cm can be illuminated with 6200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 533 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
