Behind the name MC331W is a LCD projector by Nec, whose main features include 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 4000 hours for this projector's lamp. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
