The Nec PA572W is a 3D-LCD projector offering 5700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 767 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 511 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
