The hardware properties of the NC1040L manufactured by Nec include 5000 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 resolution and a contrast value of 2000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
