With the MC301X, Nec offers a LCD projector that features 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
