The NP1150 model from Nec combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 3700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 600:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 530 cm can be illuminated with 3700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 353 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.

Although the device is no longer quite so up-to-date, it still does its job convincingly today. For me, there is no reason to replace the NP 1150 with a newer projector!
