Known as the PA803U, this Laser-LCD projector by Nec features basic specs of 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 909 cm can be illuminated with 8000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 606 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
