The projector MW550 by Benq utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 5000 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 610 cm can be illuminated with 3600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 407 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D.
