Based on LCD technology, the Nec VT800 device delivers 2700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 500:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 2700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 453 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 302 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
