The hardware properties of the U310W manufactured by Nec include 3100 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast value of 2000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 60 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 566 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 377 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

Have been using this projector for a few days now and have to say that the picture is very bright (absolutely suitable for daylight) and razor sharp, and the projector is also sufficiently quiet overall.
