Based on DLP technology, the Nec PH1000U projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 11000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1066 cm can be illuminated with 11000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 711 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
