The basic data of the Nec NP905 includes 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 500:1. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 2500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
