According to Nec, the NP215 model provides 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 2000:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
