Behind the name MT1055 is a LCD projector by Nec, whose main features include 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2000 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
