With the M361X, Nec offers a LCD projector that features 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 349 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
