Equipped with LCD technology, the Nec M260X offers 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
