The projector ME331X by Nec operates as a LCD device with 3300 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 6000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
