According to Benq, the SP840 model provides 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
