The basic data of the Benq LX730 includes 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 786.432 Pixel as well as a contrast of 3000000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 411 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
