The Benq GS2 is a DLP projector offering 500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. Benq lists a runtime of 20000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 227 cm can be illuminated with 500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 151 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
