Based on DLP technology, the Benq LX720 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
