The projector TH685i by Benq utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 15000 hours, which amounts to roughly 20.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Android TV is integrated as a smart platform, enabling direct access to streaming services like Netflix or YouTube. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
