The Benq MX854UST is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 3500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 70 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
