As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Benq LU935ST is equipped with 5500 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast of 3000000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 162 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
