As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Benq TH690ST is equipped with 2300 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 500000:1. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 138 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 2300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 487 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 325 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
