Behind the name AK700ST is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Benq, whose main features include 4000 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 138 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Since entering the market in 2024, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
