A projector from Benq is the LK935, whose 3D-DLP model delivers 5500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 3000000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
