The equipment of the Benq GP520 projector includes 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 display. An LED lifespan of 20000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 518 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. With a value of only 26 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
