The equipment of the Benq LH835ST projector includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 138 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports optional Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
