Designed for the Short Distance sector, the HT2150ST model from Benq features 2200 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast ratio of 15000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3500 hours for this projector's lamp. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 138 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
