The projector SP890 by Benq utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
