Based on DLP technology, the Benq PX9230 projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
