The Benq HT4050 is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 2000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 10000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
