The PW9620 is a 3D-DLP projector by Benq, whose specifications list 6700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2800:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 832 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 555 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
