The projector MX808ST by Benq utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 786.432 Pixel. According to Benq, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 122 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 500 cm can be illuminated with 3300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 333 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
